  Graduated in Humanities, in Iconology and Iconography, at the University of Rome La Sapienza, and specialized in the history of medieval and modern art. Since 1990 she is an art historian in the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, and has been involved in cataloguing and protecting cultural heritage in the territory until 1996. From 1997 to 2007, she has been involved in cataloguing, educational services and web communication projects. In the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome since 2007, she has coordinated the Cultural Communication Service, she has been the Director of the H. C. Andersen Museum and has curated more than thirty exhibitions and some projects with wide accessibility. Since 2015 she works at the Polo Museale of Lazio. As the Director of the Boncompagni Museum of Rome and Villa Lante in Bagnaia (VT) she deals with the management and valorization of the museum. She has published monographs on Venetian artists of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth centuries, educational catalogues and various essays on contemporary Italian and foreign artists.
