• Caroline Evans Central Saint Martins
  She is Professor of Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Her publications include Fashion at the Edge (2003), The Mechanical Smile (2013) and (with Alessandra Vaccari) Il Tempo della Moda (2019), which will be published in English as Time in Fashion in 2020. Her current research projects attend to the idea of “fashion gesture”; a media archaeological approach to fashion history via film; and an exploration of the relations between technologies of the body and of pattern-cutting.
• Alessandra Vaccari Università Iuav di Venezia
  She is Associate Professor of Fashion History, and Fashion History and Theory at the Iuav University of Venice (Università Iuav di Venezia). Her publications include Fashion at the Time of Fascism (2009, with Mario Lupano); La moda nei discorsi dei designer (2012); Moda città e immaginari (2016). With Caroline Evans, she co-edited the book Il Tempo della Moda (2019), which will be published in English as Time in Fashion in 2020.
