  She is an Italian Cultural anthropologist, independent researcher, consultant, and lecturer, based in Paris and Milan. Dr Pistilli conducts research and teach in several academia, including Sorbonne University in Paris, La Sapienza University in Rome, Fine Arts Academy of Bologna, among them. Her first monograph, titled “Dress Code. Sincretismi, cultura, comunicazione nella moda contemporanea” (2005), delves into the intricate connections between culture, communication, and contemporary fashion.

  She is a renowned French-Italian costume designer, fashion stylist, and heritage expert, works in Rome, Milan and around the world. Her advice is sought after in the fashion industry, on film sets, and in the history of fashion. She has a diverse background with studies in Sociology and Human Sciences, Fashion and Costume Design. Caillaud is Lecturer in Textile Culture in several academia, including Arte della Seta Lisio Foundation in Florence, Fine Art Academy of Florence, among them.
