  She is PhD in Theory of Language and Sign Sciences from the University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ and works as a teacher of ESL in secondary schools and an independent scholar. She has recently published the article titled “Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie as Fashion Icon. Addressing Nationalism and Feminism with Style” (co-authored with Enrica Picarelli) in The Fashion Companion to Fashion Studies (Routledge 2021) and taken part to the Fashion Tales 2020+1 Conference Politics through the wardrobe with a speech titled #CrownYourself: Amanda Gorman, fashion and activism in today’s America. She is the author of Italy Beyond Gomorrah. Roberto Saviano and Transmedia Disruption (Rowman and Littlefield International 2017) and the editor of the Italian Cultural Studies issue of JOMEC Journal titled Being on the Part of the Future (Cardiff University Press 2015).
