Mise en abyme. L’esperienza espansa della moda nell’età della mixed reality

Abstract

Il contributo analizza la moda del XXI secolo attraverso il modello teorico della mise en abyme, focalizzando l’attenzione sulla mixed reality come un panorama esteso tra fisico e digitale. All’interno del contesto italiano, individuato come luogo di sperimentazione e interazione tra innovazione digitale e tradizione manifatturiera, sono presi in esami quattro casi studio che, durante i mesi di distanziamento sociale imposto dal Covid-19, hanno sviluppato progetti improntati alla mixed reality con conseguenze significative su processi creativi, di produzione, distribuzione, comunicazione e fruizione della moda. In questo scenario, il contributo si interroga sull’espansione dell’esperienza della moda, sulla trasformazione in atto dell’oggetto digitale, sulla concezione e percezione del tempo e sull’idea di intimità ai tempi del Covid.
