  He is senior assistant professor of Aesthetics at the Department for Life Quality Studies, University of Bologna. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy in Bologna in 2008 and spent research stays at the University of Freiburg i.B. in 2009 and 2011. He has published articles and books in Italian, English and German as author or co-editor, and has translated books from English and German. His main research areas are hermeneutics, critical theory, aesthetics of fashion, philosophy of music. He also writes as music critic and works as editor in chief of the section Music of the online journal “Scenari”.
